This was our last vacation where it was just Kathie and Jonathan, no Victoria. We spent nine days in Paris in mid-Winter and had a wonderful time. |

Jonathan is one of the adults in charge of the youth program at our church. In 2003, after a 30-month program, he led the teens on a pilgrimage to Scotland and the Isle of Iona. |

Alsace & Germany - August, 2004 Along with Victoria and our babysitter, Kelley, we went back to one of our favorite European destinations, Alsace and the Black Forest of Germany. |

After Kathie won a week in the Caribbean in a charity auction, we decided to go to St. Maarten during Presidents' Day week for a welcome respite from Winter. |

We had such a great time in St. Maarten, that we decided were going to enjoy another Winter trip to the Caribbean. This time to the rainforest island of St. Lucia. |

The Galapagos Islands - March, 2007 We went on the adventure of a lifetime - a seven night cruise through the Galapagos Islands. Everything about this trip was perfect: the weather, the ship, the ship’s crew, the animals, the snorkeling, EVERYTHING! |

My new job with AAA has me marketing trips to Europe, primarily Switzerland. This was the first trip that I led to the Alpine resort of Davos and the surrounding area. |

The Loire Valley - November, 2007 Thanksgiving was supposed to be a week in Paris. A French train strike changed that and we ended up in the Loire Valley for a week. |

For two weeks, we explored the Mediterranean. First, we spent four nights in the French town of Béziers with our friends the Tromeurs who were home visiting family. Then we went on a ten-night cruise through the Western Mediterranean that took us to Italy, France, and Spain. |

Kaua’i, Hawai’i - August, 2008 Hawai’i is someplace Victoria and I wanted to go to for a long time, so when Kathie saw a great package to the Hyatt on Kaua’i, we knew it was too good to pass up! And by the time the trip rolled around in August, we were all VERY ready for it! |
