Last year, we had such a wonderful time in St. Maarten (see travel log and pictures) that within weeks we were starting to figure out where we wanted to go in the Winter of 2006.  When it was time to start really looking around for somewhere to go, I asked a couple of travel agents at my office which island they would go to if money and time wasn't an issue.  Without even pausing to think of it, St. Lucia was their immediate answer.  As this was one of the islands that was high on our list, our decision-making seemed very simple.  When we discovered that we were going to be able to use frequent flyer miles on US Airways, it seemed karmically ordained.  So, St. Lucia it was!

It turned out to be EXACTLY what we hoped for, with friendly people, beautiful rainforests, sparkling waters, and pristine beaches.  For those of you looking to go to St. Lucia yourself, here are the websites we used:
