Today was a bit of a low-key day. We were a bit slow to get up and get going. After breakfast, Kelley and Victoria went down to the beach, while Kathie and I headed over to Marigot to meet with Cedric, the owner of a sailboat we had found through a waitress at Mango Mango yesterday. We were looking to sail to Anguilla, St. Barths, Saba, or one of the smaller uninhabited islands and he had suggested that we swing by his berth to meet him and discuss what we wanted to do. If the cruise goes as well as our meeting with him, we'll be well off. We decided to go out with him on Friday for the day and just go wherever the winds take us.

After our meeting, we headed back to the hotel to pick up the girls and head down into Phillipsburg for lunch and some shopping. The only problem with this plan was that the docks were filled with four cruise ships plus an extra one out in the bay they didn't have room for. Bleah! We went back to the Kangaroo Court for lunch. After a slight (albeit less than I expected) wait, we had a yummy lunch and then hit the streets for some shopping. Kelley, Victoria, and I all got some great new outfits - we'll just have a hard time when we get back to the icy tundra of the north, waiting until May to wear them!

We made it back to the hotel in time to allow Kathie to relax with a book, me to take a nap, Kelley to take a bath in our HUGE tub, and Victoria to watch a movie on my computer's DVD player. By 5:30, though, we were ready to go back out on the road heading over to the French side to re-visit the gem of a restaurant we had stumbled onto Sunday night, Le Sol E Luna.

They welcomed us back warmly and ran us through another INCREDIBLE dining experience. Victoria worked over her huge bowl of mussels, Kathie gushed over her beef dish, I was in heaven with my tuna carpaccio and then my duck and Kelley was in a hedonistic ecstasy with her dessert, a chocolate lava cake! They almost had to roll us out of bed and back to the hotel. Even though it was a "low-key" day, we're all still pretty wiped out!
