Originally, we were planning on making a side-trip to the town of Baden-Baden on this day of the trip to go to their famous spas.  But we were all absolutely wiped out when we woke up (later than usual), so we decided take it easy and just wander around the area.  We first headed down to the town of Forbach in search of a restaurant for lunch.  We had a lovely walk along the River Murg (see pictures below) through Forbach and we ended up at the restaurant we first dined at the first evening we were in the Black Forest. 

After lunch we went up the mountain near Hundsbach (where Vera's house is) to a mountain-top lake.  As beautiful as the lake was, Kathie and Kelley were actually disappointed because there were literally bus-loads of people by one of the ends of the lake.  We drove a little beyond where they were and found a section where no one was around and spent the next two hours playing around the lake. 

Kathie and Kelley decided to take a nap in the sun while Victoria and I went exploring.  Every time we came across a stream tumbling down the hill, she had to go see the little waterfalls.  After thirty minutes or so of doing this, Victoria decided that we needed to go jump on Momma and wake her up!
