Be sure to include address, phone number, the type of cuisine, and why you think it should be recommended to others.

Overlooking Lake Ontario in building that dates back to 1824, the Oban Inn is truly reminiscent of an English inn, from its décor, to its service, to its cuisine. Surrounded by beautifully manicured English style gardens, you may choose to savor Afternoon Tea or maybe a light lunch or dinner, served near a warm and inviting hearth. In honor of George Bernard Shaw, world-renowned playwright, Shaw's Corner is nestled in a small corner of the Pub, featuring a piano bar and memorabilia from over 40 seasons of The Shaw Festival Theatre. Diners can select from traditional and hearty English style fare, served in either the formal dining room or the congenial pub.

The cuisine is prepared in the French café style, which is unsophisticated in taste and finds its identity in its simplicity and diversity. Dishes like Omelettes, Sandwiches, Quiches and Onion Soups reflect what one is expecting to find on this type of menu. The Shaw Café and Wine Bar creates its own pastries, breads, baguettes, pies and cakes, all produced under the direction and guidance of the Three Feathers Patisserie and are worth a stop on their own (think picnic!).

Offering Canadian and Regional Niagara (fruit & vegetables, meat, fish, and dairy) dishes, the Vineland Estates Winery Restaurant changes its menu to reflect the season. Their menus are wonderfully creative and have an approach that is more rustic than classical. Located high on the escarpment on the grounds of Vineland Estates Winery, the outdoor dining in warmer months is especially nice as you are removed from the noise and hustle-and-bustle you get closer to the Q.E.W. The view overlooks their vineyards and Lake Ontario. Their hours are 11am-3pm and 5-9pm in the summer and noon - 2:30pm and 5-8:30pm in the Winter.
